Tatuaje
Vintage 2009 La Verite Churchills and Tatuaje Vintage
2009 L'espirit de Verite Robustos have arrived!
Essentially
taking a vintner's approach to cigar making, Pete Johnson
conceptualized La Vérité. By creating a brand using tobacco
from a single vintage and a single farm. Johnson chose a
2009 harvest from José "Pepin" Garcia's La Estrella farm
in Estelí, Nicaragua, consisting of 100% Criollo Habano
tobacco. Then the select premium tobacco from one year,
and from only one farm, is put through the strongest fermentation
process removing any and all impurities. In a non traditional
fashion, the aging step of placing tobacco in bales has
been skipped and the decision was made to let the tobacco
age in the form of a completed cigar.
"It's
like aging wine in a bottle," says Johnson. "I'd rather
age the tobacco gracefully in the rolled cigar instead of
in the bales. A lot of people will say that I'm rushing
this process, but if the tobacco is properly fermented and
aged, I think you can use it right away." Like fine wines,
Johnson expects his La Vérité Tatuaje A.O.C. cigars to improve
over time.
The
Tatuaje Fausto series of cigars is similar to the
full-bodied blend as the Tatuaje T110. This smoke is made
with Nicaraguan binder and filler and wrapped in an Ecuadorian
habano maduro leaf.
The
Tatuaje Avion is a spinoff of the Fausto line, which
features a full-bodied blend similar to the Tatuaje T110.

Celebrate
Viaje's Late Harvest, which gets its name from the
last two primings of the tobacco plant, the corona and ligero
leaves. These leaves are left to naturally sun on the plant
after the first primings are picked, resulting in a thicker
leaf with stronger flavors and more savory oils.
Viaje's
Skull And Bones has arrived. With a sun grown criollo
wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder and filler, you can expect
plenty of flavor and punch in this full bodied stick.
Tabak
Especial has added a Belicoso (5" x 54) and a Cafecita
(4" x 32) to the Dulce and Negra series of cigars.

for Empire Cigars. This is an elegant and powerful blend
of pure Dominican tobaccos enhanced by rich, flavorful ligero.

chocolate gives way to deep, full flavor without being overwhelmingly
strong. This is a cigar you'll want to return to again and
again.
Jaime
Garcia: Blended
by Jaime Garcia, Don Pepin's son, these dark powerhouses
offer intense notes of bitter chocolate, pepper, leather
and spice. Wrapped in naturally dark Connecticut broadleaf,
the binder is Ecuadorian and the filler from Nicaragua.
Medium to full bodied, with deep, rich flavors.

KA
Kendall's 7-20-4:
Once upon a time, R. G. Sullivan was the largest seller
of 10-cent cigars in the United States, producing at least
54 million annually. The 7-20-4 is a tribute to the older
style of cigars made in the late 1800's and early 1900's,
and the number is a reference to the original factory founded
in 1875 in New Hampshire. With a Brazilian Mata Fina wrapper
and Columbian binder, this is the original "good old
cigar" that caused Mark Twain to pledge, "If there
are no cigars in Heaven, I shall not go." Expect rich
and complex notes of creamy cedar, honey, dark chocolate
and pepper, and a full-bodied, mouth-filling finish that
is sure to satisfy the most discriminating of connoisseurs.
Illusione
Nosotros: The
Illusione Nosotros Cigars are the result of a collaborative
effort by Drew Estates and Illusione. These cigars feature
a combination of fine Nicaraguan tobaccos which offer subtle
but complex flavors and an elegant structure without being
overpowering on the nose. As these cigars are smoked, the
complex flavors increase while building up to a long and
flavorful finish.
Cain
Serie F:
The Cain F Series uses a combination of ligero tobaccos
that come from the fields of Condega, Esteli and the Jalapa
Valley in Nicaragua. It boasts a blend of triple fermented
tobaccos used to create an all ligero cigar. This Triple
fermentation process allows a strong, full, very smooth
smoke with an aggressively tasty spice. It contains a subtle
sweetness throughout, but is a predominately peppery cigar.
El
Triunfador is made by Pete Johnson, owner of the extremely
successful Tatuaje brand. El Triunfador features Nicaraguan
binder and filler and a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The
wrappers are naturally dark. The flavor and body profile
of El Triunfador is similar to Pete's Cabaiguan Maduro blend.
Three sizes are currently available.
The
Joya de Nicaragua Antano Dark Corojo is a full bodied
75% ligero creation with an oily, silky wrapper that exudes
aroma and flavor. Expect sophisticated notes of leather,
spice and bittersweet chocolate with a long, creamy finish.
Also

box pressed cigar with only 200 boxes made, the La Aurora

New
from Liga Privada and the blending talents of Drew Estate,
the Liga Privada
T52. Oliva Cigars has released the Oliva Serie V
Maduro Especial. Don't miss Don Pepin's latest "Jewel".
The My Father Le Bijou 1922 is a new extension to
the popular My Father line. Last but definitely not least,
the long-awaited Padron Family Reserve 45th Anniversary
1964 is now available.
Liga Privada #9 T52 Robusto (5 x 52)
Origin: Nicaragua
Wrapper: Habano
Filler: Nicaragua
Binder: NicaraguaThe
T52 remains a departure from Drew Estate’s flavored cigars
and is the second cigar created by Steve Saka (Drew Estate's
President) for his own personal enjoyment, but released
to the market due to its phenominal characteristics. The
blend consists of full-flavored, premium Nicaraguan tobaccos
just as the No. 9 but comes cloaked in a beautiful, toothy
and oily Habano wrapper. The combination brings a rich,
unique complexity to the palate with more spicy characteristics
and a stronger robust finish. Almost no sweet nuances are
noticable as the blend builds from the start and perfectly
compliments a hearty meal. If you’re a fan of Drew Estate
but prefer a full-bodied and semi-spicy traditional blend,
then Liga Privada T52 is for you.
Oliva
Serie V Maduro 2009
6 X 56 torpedoOliva
Cigars has released the Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial, a
Nicaraguan filler and binder finished with a Connecticut-broadleaf
wrapper. Oliva has produced exactly what people were crying
out for when they asked for a Serie V Maduro. Oliva vice
president Jose Oliva called the cigar “the maduro interpretation”
of the original Oliva Serie V. He also said it was considerably
stronger than the original. Unlike the original Serie V,
which is a regular-production smoke from Oliva, the company
made only 50,000 Serie V Maduro's, with just 250 retailers
slated to receive the cigars. The Oliva Serie V Maduro Especial
cigar is only available in the torpedo size.
My
Father Le Bijou 1922
Don
Pepin’s "Jewel". My Father Le Bijou 1922 is a
new extension to the popular My Father line. Whereas the
original installment was produced as a tribute to Don Pepin
and blended by his son Jaime, Le Bijou pays homage to Don
Pepin’s father. French for "the Jewel", Le Bijou is a rich,
full-bodied treat in typical Pepin form. Featuring an Ecuadorian-grown
Habano Oscuro wrapper and a healthy mix of Nicaraguan long-fillers,
Le Bijou 1922 exudes a robust array of flavors delivered
in a remarkably smooth fashion. Complex, unique and satisfying
- the Garcia Family’s new star!
